The Ethel M^® Botanical Cactus Garden is a 3-acre botanical garden located at the Ethel M^® Chocolate Factory in Henderson, Nevada (see address below). The garden is Nevada's largest cactus garden and one of the worlds most prolific collections of its kind (open to the public - free admission). Designed with sweeping raised beds and wide "hardscape" pathways (ADA accessible), visitors can easily navigate and enjoy the garden. The garden contains more than 300 species of drought resistant cacti, ornamentals and succulent plants. Roughly half of the species are native to the American southwest, the remainder being from Australia and South America. The plants were chosen for the beauty of their floral displays and their adaptability to the local climate.

The Botanical Cactus Garden includes a "demonstration" waste water treatment facility. The chocolate factory recycles 100 percent of its wastewater without using any chemicals, thanks to the help of bacteria, algae, snails and fish. This facility "mimics" natural wetlands providing an ecologically friendly water treatment system. The recycled water provides hydration for the cactus garden and also attracts a variety of local bird species.

Throughout the year the Botanical Cactus Garden hosts several community events including the annual cactus garden holiday lights. During this time of year the cactus garden showcases over half a million lights which illuminate the historic cactus garden (free to the general public). This incredible display of lights is one of Las Vegas' premier holiday attractions and has brought charm and cheer to the metro area for many years.

From the intersection of S. Las Vegas Blvd. and E. Flamingo Rd. travel East along E. Flamingo Rd. for 5.5 miles+- to the intersection of Mountain Vista St. Turn right (South) onto Mountain Vista St. continuing 3.0 miles+- to the intersection of Sunset Way. Turn left (East) onto Sunset Way traveling 500 feet+- to the intersection of Cactus Garden Dr. Turn left (North) onto Cactus Garden Dr. traveling 500 feet+- to roads end (cul-de-sac). From the cul-de-sac turn "left" (Westerly) into the parking area (signed) for the Ethel M^® Botanical Cactus Garden. Note: an additional "overflow" parking lot (signed) is available 100 feet+- South of the cul-de-sac on the West side of Cactus Garden Dr. Warning: adjacent businesses restrict parking (don't get towed). Total distance (one-way) just under 9 miles. Return by reversing route.
